PRPC Water Sdn Bhd

Manages the raw water supply facility better known as PAMER and supplies 260 MLD of water

  • 230 MLD to PIC
  • 30 MLD to state reservoir

PIC's extensive water infrastructure ensures uninterrupted supply from source to plant.

PRefChem

Pengerang Refining Company Sdn Bhd and Pengerang Petrochemical Company Sdn. Bhd. (collectively known as PRefChem) are two joint ventures formed from the strategic alliance of two of the world’s largest and most successful national oil companies - Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS), the national oil company of Malaysia, and Saudi Aramco (Aramco), the national oil company of Saudi Arabia. 

PRefChem owns and operates the Refinery, Cracker and Petrochemical Complex, which forms a significant part of the Pengerang Integrated Complex (PIC) in Malaysia’s southern state of Johor. This smart partnership brings together secured resources, cutting edge technologies, a vast amount of experience, and commercial presence of two world-class companies in the operations of the refinery, cracker and petrochemical facilities within PIC. 

The refinery complex has a capacity of 300,000 barrels of crude per day, and produces a range of refined petroleum products, including jet fuel, motor gasoline and diesel, meeting Euro 5 fuel specifications. It also provides feedstock for the petrochemical complex, with a nameplate capacity of 3.4 million tonnes per annum (mtpa).

 

PETRONAS Chemicals Isononanol Sdn Bhd (PC INA)

100% owned by PETRONAS Petrochemical Sdn Bhd

The PC INA plant is the first for PETRONAS and in Malaysia.  It sits on a 387m x 290 m plot in the middle of PIC getting its utilities from UF and main feedstocks of Raffinate 2, Hydrogen and Syngas from RC to produce isononanol.  The plant has a nameplate capacity of 250,000 metric tonnes.

Pengerang Gas Solutions Sdn Bhd (PGSSB)

Is a joint venture between PETRONAS Gas Berhad and Linde.  It operates the Air Separation Unit (ASU) supplying oxygen and nitrogen.

•800 MTPD nitrogen

Pengerang LNG (Two) Sdn Bhd (PLNG2) 

Supply natural gas to PePSB, process plants and Peninsular gas pipeline

  • 2x 200,000 m³ LNG storage
  • 500 MMSCFD natural gas

LNG Truck facility:  36 trucks per day

Gassing up and cooling down operation for ship after dry dock maintenance

LNG reloading and unloading bunkering services

Pengerang Terminals (Two) Sdn Bhd (PT2SB)

Import/export facilities for LNG, liquid petroleum and petrochemical products

  • 1.3mil m3 of petroleum storage
  • 0.2mil m3 of chemicals storage
CEFS PIC

The company was established to provide the following to Members of CEFS PIC:

  • Fire Fighting Operation
  • Hazardous Material Operation
  • Rescue Operation
  • Special Assistance Services
  • Inland Oil Spill Operation

Also provides emergency response technical support and Emergency Response trainings.

LG PETRONAS Chemicals Malaysia Sdn Bhd (LGPC)
Joint Venture Company between LG Chem (51%) and
PETRONAS Chemicals Group (49%).

Manufacturer of synthetic rubber, specializing in Nitrile Butadiene Latex (NBL),
with a production capacity of 200 KTPA.
