Objective

Due to the integrated nature of the PIC, any downtime can significantly impact other areas. Therefore, planned Turnaround (TA), shutdowns, and major maintenance by OPCs must be coordinated and agreed upon using the Integrated Turnaround Coordination Committee (ITACC). This article outlines the rules and guidelines for effective coordination and execution of these activities, which all current and future OPCs should reference.

Scope

This document will cover work scopes related to planned downtimes within the PIC, which could significantly impact other OPCs. Therefore, it is essential that planned Turnaround (TA) and shutdowns are discussed and agreed upon by all parties involved. This includes the preparation of a Level 1 integrated TA schedule and common services requirements, using the Integrated Turnaround Coordination Committee (ITACC) as the coordination platform.
