Appendix 5: PIC Stakeholder and Communications Fraternity Committee (SCFC)


Objective

The SCFC will manage the Common Interest based on the Guiding Principles by aligning and integrating key activities in PIC, fostering collaborations on stakeholder relations, staying informed about potential issues and mitigation plans, coordinating communication narratives and activities, ensuring brand image representation and governance among OPCs in PIC, providing feedback on frameworks, guidelines, procedures, measurements, and systems, and addressing any other matters related to communications and stakeholder management.

 

Scope

The SCFC is responsible for aligning and integrating stakeholder and communications management at the PIC level, covering areas such as issues and crisis management, stakeholder engagement and contributions, social impact programs, and the development of narratives and key messages.

 

Membership

The committee is chaired by the Head of Strategic Communication & Stakeholder Management from PRPC. Its members include Senior Managers, Managers, and Executives appointed by OPCs, bringing diverse expertise in stakeholder and corporate communication management, human resources and administration, HSSE, and finance. This varied expertise ensures the committee can effectively manage and oversee strategic communication and stakeholder management functions.
